Know How Useful is YouR Moblie Phone?

Know How Useful is YouR Moblie Phone?

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:

FIRST
Subject: Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.

SECOND
Subject: Have you locked your keys in the car?
Does your car have remote keyless entry? This may come in handy someday. Good reason to own a cell phone: If you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are at home, call someone at home on their cell phone from your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the mobile phone on their end. Your car will unlock. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away, and if you can reach someone who has the other "remote" for your car, you can unlock the doors (or the trunk).

THIRD
Subject: Hidden Battery Power
Imagine your cell battery is very low. To activate, press the keys *3370# your cell will restart with this reserve and the instrument will show a 50% increase in battery. This reserve will get charged when you charge your cell next time. By the way, have been proven not every mobile phone has such privileges. And yes, Nokia 3310 can. lol

FOURTH
How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?
To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the following digits on your phone: * # 0 6 # A 15 digit code will appear on the screen. This number is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it somewhere safe. When your phone gets stolen, you can phone your service provider and give them this code. They will then be able to block your handset so even if the thief changes the SIM card, your phone will be totally useless. You probably won't get your phone back, but at least you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it either. If everybody does this, there would be no point in people stealing mobile phones.

Happy Chinese New Year!!

Boo~

Chinese New Year - is the biggest festive season for all Chinese, as it symbolizes the start of a brand new year of the lunar calendar. There's a lot of traditions and celebrations for this important festival which actually last for 15 days during the older days... Although we don't eat and play for 15 days but there's still so many events and celebrations around during Chinese New Year. XD This year CNY is certainly unfair to all Chinese students(except those who'r on holiday), only 2 days public holiday + Saturday and Sunday. Who to blame? Non actually, the lunar calendar January 1st dropped on Thursday, is a fact. Let's say 1st January, 初一on Monday and Tuesday, then i will have 1 week public holiday. sigh, enuf.

During Chinese New Year, my house is fully decorated ornately with emptied ang paus. Haplessly, no photos were taken for that. Haizz, by the way, is not a problem to take it in coming this weekend if i can go back lah :P

Emm. So I had my share of peanut, cookies, cake (not fattening but its addictive) and alot alot...of Shandy. Everyone seems to be serving it to guest during chinese new year. Is there some correlation between cny celebrations and Anglia Shandy? Anyway, its the closest thing there is to beer and I actually enjoy Shandy very much..despite the fact that I'm not recommended to consume over carbonated beverages. (something to do with my naughty stomach disorder)

But screw it, I've drank up 2 cans a day and I'm still alive & kicking and not sprawling on the floor grabing my stomach..Choi!

Gong Xi Gong Xi yah! ; D

By the way,
Angpaus for this year ngam ngam RM1K.

Just Follow Law

This has to be one of the funniest films (and at the same time touching as well) that I have seen in a long time. You may recall the title from the recent (think it was in December?) Golden Horse awards (think Academy Awards for Asians), where Gurmit Singh was nominated for an award. Anyway, the film is really good stuff, they actually do shed some light on what really goes on in the real world, as many of my friends (who have started working) would be like "OMG so true" and all.
Do give it a watch :)

It's even better if you've already been exposed to corporate culture :P

Chillis @ KLCC

Boo~

Going to shopping malls during public holiday... i expected it must be Jam everywhere, hard to find a car park, shops packed with people, restaurants with long queues, but today "Wilayah Holiday", miracle, weird, it doesn't at all. I and my 1st sister took the opportunity to have fun as much as possible since Sydney been sepak-ed to her lai ma there. That was the most enjoyable time ever. Hope time can be paused. LOL We reached KLCC around 11am and wanted to have brunch. We chose Chillis as planned and of coz "Bukan Saya bayar". GG XD

Here some random pictures i would like to share, Click to enlarge. Tiny picture does not do justice. :)

Explosion Salad and Fries, sadly, we couldn't finish it, that was too much :(

Lamb Shoulder and Southwestern Lamb, the best Lamb steak in Chillis, must try. MUST!!

My Lamb Shoulder, i took 2 min to masticate one lump by one lump once cut. The taste!!! TOTALLY AWESOME. Arhh, you do not know how i feel. Pointless if i describe more. :)

Recall AVP2

This post is inspired by the original DVD of Alien Vs Predator 2. It has been a while after i had watched it but recalling the movie doesnt harm. The movie is a sequel from AvP which was dam nice when I watched it, so long ago I couldn't really remember when. XD So, if you could remember where the story stops, it starts from there, how aliens ended up on Earth again, this time taking more innocent lives. Telling too much will spoil the story but the predator was imba, can fight so many aliens together... The movie is quite ok, but with more gory scenes than the previous one... The storyline is so-so, there's a twister at the end of the movie, probably we can expect another sequel from there. I would rate this movie 6.5/10, not boring, not very interesting... Mainly focus on actions since there's lots of fight, very cruel because many innocent lives were taken away.... Watch it if you like these stuff, but if you expect a good story, then I suppose you will be disappointed as it's quite straight forward for the entire show. XD
